This method of weight loss seems to have taken the world by storm promising quick results...

More than ever before people are watching what they eat...)

One method that has shown great success in helping people quickly drop those unwanted pounds
is through low carb cooking and dieting.
This method of weight loss seems to have taken the world by storm promising quick results
for the simple (or not so simple) lifestyle change of eliminating as many carbohydrates as possible from our diets. The notion sounds simple on one hand and is appealing to not only women hoping to
drop those vanity pounds but also men who welcome the idea of eating all the steaks they can handle throughout the year.

Low card cooking is becoming a way of life for many families as a result though the idea
of this particular lifestyle change and the reality of it do on occasion seriously collide with one another.
If you are interested in dropping those unwanted pounds and keeping them off, this is a doubt that without a doubt gets results.
The problem is that you must stick to the diet in order for the results to remain consistent even after you’ve met your weight loss goals.
This means that you are not really embarking on a diet so much as a complete overhaul in the way you eat.
The excellent thing about low carb cooking is that it is so widely popular.

This means that you will have no trouble finding resources, tips, tricks, advice, and even amazing substitutes for those things you often miss most when engaging in the low carb lifestyle.
You can find recipes that are low in carbs by the mouthful at your local libraries and bookstores around the world. You can also find many resources on the Internet to help assist and encourage you in your low carb lifestyle incorporation. In addition to the cookbooks, recipes, and encouragement you also need to weed out the fact from the fiction when it comes to low carb cooking.

The best way to do this is to go straight to the source. If you are going to incorporate this lifestyle altering diet into your way of life, you want to make sure that you are following it to the letter and not some knock off version that may not be as effective. When it comes to low carb cooking you have the perfect excuse to use your grill well and use your grill often.

It`s so tasty...)
As always the best 4u.

Most people cannot survive a low carb diet that is also too low in salt and fat. Probably the biggest mistake people make is trying to go low carbs while also lowering their salt and fat intake. This will quickly drive most people nuts. On a low carb diet it is not necessary to lower your salt and fat so much. In fact, most people find that they can get away with more salt and a lot more fat.

Cutting carbs is one of the simplest and most effective ways to lose weight.

Studies show that people on low-carb diets lose more weight, faster, than people on low-fat diets… even when the low-fat dieters are actively restricting calories.

It is much more appropriate to think of low-carb as a lifestyle, NOT a diet. The only way to succeed in the long-term is to stick to it.

I’m sure that low-carb diets are not for everyone, but it’s so difficult as people says once you do things rightly.

I’ve been on a low-carb diet since 1999. I have had lots of beneficial effects from that, the best of which was complete cessation of my arthritis, and the second best was the loss of 100 lbs.

I have been on a low-carb diet for 3 months. I have lost 12 kgs without feeling any hunger. I have significantly improved my Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels.
Moreover, I feel less sleepy during the day. This greatly affects my life quality.

Great article ! Been on a low-carb diet for almost 2 years now, and still going strong! I am also training a lot, and going cross-country skiing. I am excited to see what results science will bring in the future about the low-carb diet associated with training.

Seven months into this diet now and I have never felt so good. my weight is ideal. I have more energy throughout the day than I have had in probably 20 years or more. I am also more mentally clear and alert.

I have been on a very low carb plan, for over 10 years. I DO get bored occasionally. I’m certainly not perfect about sticking with the plan. However, when I stray I feel ill, bloated and tired. Feeling bad helps to bring my lifestyle back into focus.

We all have different reasons to adopt a low-carb diet, but we all arrive at the same conclusion: better health.

Yes, I lost weight on a low-carb diet and loved every minute of it because you’re full all the time on satisfying foods. You can eat some really full fat stuff and still lose weight. I didn’t miss carbs at all.

I love the low-carb diet. Started about 3 weeks ago and I just feel “cleaner.” I have more energy for my workouts, I’ve shredded some of the bad fat and I feel more solid.

Regardless of which diet approach you choose, permanent lifestyle changes in eating and physical activity are needed to prevent weight regain. The best weight loss plan is one you can stick with.

Also, for many, eating too few carbs can cause plenty of problems as well. It’s true that you need to reduce them to a very low amount to be in ketosis, but unless you are trying to fix some sort of health problem with ketosis, it is not necessarily a good state to be in long term. Short term is fine… long term can equal problems for many.

Hi Mouna,

Ok, perhaps not all knows what a ketogenic diet are, Staying on a ketogenic diet means eating so few carbohydrates that when your glycogen stores empty, your body cashes-in on a process called 'ketosis' for energy. The carbohydrate threshold to stay in ketosis will vary by individual, but the guideline for most folks is fewer than 50 grams of carbs. I wish you all the best...live and eat healthy.

Hi Tmmy,

Thank you so much for comment on my blog.I quess you know....that
Too much sodium in the diet may also have other harmful health effects, including increased risk for stroke, heart failure, osteoporosis, stomach cancer and kidney disease.

The problem is starting early in America:I have read that 97 percent of children and adolescents eat too much salt, putting them at greater risk for cardiovascular diseases as they get older.

And the problem are the same nearly all over.

Wish you a healthy day...)

So sorry for late replay.

Great article. I agree a diet low in carbs or calories is the way to go. I try to eat around 2000 calories a day, that's the normal amount an average man should eat. I also workout every other day so I can lose weight and even gain muscle. It really comes down to eating properly and not eating junk food. Once you eat healthy you will notice a difference.
