When it comes to staying or getting into good shape, 

motivation may be hard to come by...

As the seasons change so do our motivation to stay in shape.
Feeling stressed out, worn out by fatigue or just simply having a miserable day, the best thing to do is relax.  Holiday schedules, cold winter days, and all those convient gadgets that keep us from drudging up the motivation to get in shape or maintain a daily routine of exercise are definite culprits.

But we should be totally aware of the effects that inactivity has on the body. Learn to set goals
Set your goals while giving yourself a peaceful environment. This will allow you to brainstorm better. Start by writing everything down. Some of the things you want to do may sound initially ridiculous. Stress is the curse of living in modern times. And the stress we suffer takes a heavy toll on our bodies, emotions and minds.

You can use meditation to improve mental health and capacities, and also to help improve the physical health.

WHAT IS MEDITATION? 

Most techniques called meditation include these components:

1. You sit or lie in a relaxed position.
2. You breathe regularly. You breathe in deep enough to get enough oxygen.
When you breathe out, you relax your muscles so that your lungs are well emptied, but without straining.
3. You stop thinking about everyday problems and matters.
4. You concentrate your thoughts upon some sound, some word you repeat, some image, some abstract concept or some feeling.
Your whole attention should be pointed at the object you have chosen to concentrate upon.
5. If some foreign thoughts creep in, you just stop this foreign thought, and go back to the object of meditation.

The different meditation techniques differ according to the degree of concentration, and how foreign thoughts are handled. By some techniques, the objective is to concentrate so intensely that no foreign thoughts occur at all.
In other techniques, the concentration is more relaxed so that foreign thoughts easily pop up. When these foreign thoughts are discovered, one stops these and goes back to the pure meditation in a relaxed manner. Thoughts coming up, will often be about things you have forgotten or suppressed, and allow you to rediscover hidden memory material. This rediscovery will have a psychotherapeutic effect.

THE EFFECTS OF MEDITATION

Meditation has the following effects:
1. Meditation will give you rest and recreation.
2. You learn to relax.
3. You learn to concentrate better on problem solving.
4. Meditation often has a good effect upon the blood pressure.
5. Meditation has beneficial effects upon inner body processes, like circulation, respiration and digestion.
6. Regular meditation will have a psychotherapeutically effect.
7. Regular meditation will facilitate the immune system.
8. Meditation is usually pleacent.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPNOSIS AND MEDITATION

Hypnosis may have some of the same relaxing
and psychotherapeutic effects as meditation.
However, when you meditate you are in control yourself; by hypnosis you let some other person or some mechanical device control you.
Also hypnosis will not have a training effect upon the ability to concentrate.

A SIMPLE FORM OF MEDITATION

Here is a simple form of meditation:
1. Sit in a good chair in a comfortable position.
2. Relax all your muscles as well as you can.
3. Stop thinking about anything, or at least try not to think about anything.
4. Breath out, relaxing all the muscles in your breathing apparatus.
5. Repeat the following in 10 - 20 minutes:

Breath in so deep that you feel you get enough oxygen.
Breath out, relaxing your chest and diaphragm completely.
Every time you breathe out, think the word "one" or another simple word inside yourself.
You should think the word in a prolonged manner, and so that you hear it inside you, but you should try to avoid using your mouth or voice.

6. If foreign thoughts come in, just stop these thoughts in a relaxed manner, and keep on concentrating upon the breathing and the word you repeat.

As you proceed through this meditation, you should feel steadily more relaxed in your mind and body, feel that you breathe steadily more effectively,
and that the blood circulation throughout your body gets more efficient.
You may also feel an increasing mental pleasure throughout the meditation.

THE EFFECTS OF MEDITATION UPON DISEASES

As any kind of training, meditation may be exaggerated so that you get tired and worn out.
Therefore you should not meditate so long or so concentrated that you feel tired or mentally emptied.

Meditation may sometimes give problems for people suffering from mental diseases, epilepsy, serious heart problems or neurological diseases.
On the other hand, meditation may be of help in the treatment of these and other conditions.

People suffering from such conditions should check out what effects the different kinds of meditation have on their own kind of health problems, before beginning to practise meditation, and be cautious if they choose to begin to meditate. The side effects of meditation are positive and countless.
Studies have demonstrated that those who meditate on a regular basis have reduced;

What a wonderful summer...

What a wonderful summer ...))) In Norway we have had an indescribably wonderful summer – so beautiful weather.  I say thank….))`s..S , I have really loved every minute of this summer. I hope also you have had a nice and beautiful summer- vacation - we are so lucky and I hope we never take it for granted. We all know what the conditions around the world are and I pray for those who are hurting. My heart weeps for all who do not have basic living conditions - it's so sad that so many innocent people must suffer-…This madness need to end. Let affectionately called and goodness of the human race victories and defeat all evil. 

Finding inspiration, developing enthusiasm.

 Know in your mind and your heart what you are capable of accomplishing. When uncertain, then you loose the game right there and then.  You can not ever accomplish anything when you first do not believe that you can. Keep in mind that every act begins with either a positive or negative thought, whereby positive thoughts gains positive results.  Be very certain on what you want to do, to achieve and to become and concentrate on those thoughts each day. Be enthusiastic in everything that you, small or big things and remember that little things when put together, become one big thing.
Act on your goals!
Take the necessary steps towards achieving it and begin now.Each day, set up a plan of action and then work on it.  At the end of the day, review what you have done and record it. Then return to your journal each week to see how well you are progressing, or if there are certain acts that needs revising or if you need to take another route.
Look at your goals each day and get inspiration from it.  Never allow negative thoughts to invade your mind. Even when you see that you are not progressing, continue and be patient.  Never let it discourage you. Remember, as they often say “when there is a will, there is always a way”. So stand firm and continue your struggle. Remember that each one encounters problems along the way; successful individuals however kept on going when others have quit. Enhance your knowledge by indulging in inspirational and positive books, talk to successful people and never stop learning.  Keep on focusing on success, on your goals. Minimize spending time with people of negative outlook in life as they will often drain you and bring you down. Success is built on the inspiration of all your little dreams and decisions that you have made for a certain period.  Note that it will not come overnight instead, stone by stone; it is built, carefully, but surely.
"So be patient, your time will come".  
Make that decision to succeed now.  Look into yourself and see that fire burning, ready to be ignited by inspiration’s strength and ready to soar.  Take some actions now, or else, nothing will happen and they will just remain to be a dream.

Without this romantic desire for another person, a relationship is nothing more than lust or infatuation.
Being in a loving relationship is usually a continual giving and receiving of love, such that there is a feeling of it going back and forth. One can question whether one partner or the other is giving, one can ask if more can be expected. Love is a complicated word; it makes one feel like you are in heaven but at same time in hell. All is not comfortable at this point in time. Like the mother-child bond, attachment comes after the initial attraction. To true love, commitment is more than just monogamy. It’s the knowledge that your partner cares for you and has your back, no matter what the circumstances. People who are strongly committed to one another will, when faced with seemingly negative information about their partner, see only the positive. They then wonder, and seek to answer the question; If he had sex with me does that mean he loves me? The answer to that question is no, having sex with you does not mean that he loves you. It means that he lusts you, and you lusted him, you had sexual feelings, not love feelings. Unfortunately, our society and it's cultural teachings associate sex to love, when in reality, sex outside of the context of marriage is generally lust driven. It's generally a self-absorbing physical desire to selfishly meet one’s own physical mania. Sex alone does not meet loves criteria, because love is not self-seeking. Love feelings follow love actions; sexual feelings often follow reactions to lust driven desires. We are all human, and we all experience the desires of our flesh, however true love feelings are associated with a deep relational bonding, not just physical intimacy.

Everyone has a desire to be loved and to naturally feel the feelings that accompany love. 
Remember though that the feelings come in reaction to the love that is expressed. This means that love must first be bestowed in order for the feelings of love to follow. So for you to be feeling the feelings of love means that someone had to express, show, or convey love to you in some form or fashion. It is at this juncture that many people get stuck; they get stuck on their own self-interests, they like the love, so they selfishly look to acquire more for themselves. We all battle with inward selfishness and our culture teaches us that more is better. Love does not seek its own desires; it looks to fulfill the needs of others. If you are feeling the feelings of love, wouldn't you want to know that your spouse or partner is also having those same feelings? Love begins by presentation, show love to your husband, give love to your wife, and they too will enjoy the feelings of love. There are many people who ask the question; how do I get my husband to love me? Or how do I get my girlfriend to love me? Simply, start with your own loving behavior, quit thinking about what you want to receive and start giving love to them. Ignite their love feelings, and thus the responses to love, by your own initiation.

The answers have been many and varied. In addition, it depends on where you look. For some it’s an attraction. For others it has a deeper meaning. For still others it is a very personal thing and very hard to describe.

The Greeks had three words for love. They were agape, philos and eros. Each had a special meaning. Agape meant an unconditional love. The word philos was associated with brotherly love, and eros meant physical love.  

Still others see love is only a physical attraction between two people.  It is tied to an emotion could there be something else? And consist mostly of feeling. But is that what love really is? Certainly there is an attraction between two people and the associated feelings that go along with it, but is that all there is to love? 

One of the pioneers of mental science, Thomas forward, said it this way. There is life. This we know. We see it all around us. We are very familiar with the plant world where things are continuously growing, dying, and reproducing. In addition where aware of the animals around us. Most people have pets and understands surely that those pets are living. We can’t forget humans as we are completely surrounded by them and in many cases associated with them. So there is life.
